3D Paper Snowflakes/Flowers →
I saw these last night in @Foyles Bookshop after our #wednesdayknit session they kindly host for us. I took a picture thinking I’d have to figure it out myself but here’s a handy how-to guide!
How handy!
Apparently with 5 instead of 6 points it looks like a flower… and can be made in various sizes…
For those of you who may not know, (and I haven’t posted anything for ages so why would you!?) all of the floral arrangements will be not only handmade, but HOMEMADE. Yes, thats right, craftiness…
So far we have origami bellflowers, knitted hollyhocks, wound roses, crochet foliage, and lovely paper daisies.
As random as it will look when it all comes together I’ll know that each flower in my bouquet will have been made by someone in the room, my closest friends and beloved family.
I’m itching to put them all together but I know that as more that arrive on my doorstep I’ll want to change everything again!
I’ll post pictures soon, I promise xx

This is my favourite perfume - I’d already decided that this will be the one for the day
Great bouquet for a rustic-elegant theme!
Love this bouquet, the flowers are so strong yet delicate. And would be beautiful in silk!
This is a good variation on our colours, but I believe the tiered blamonge (I apologise for the tragic spelling there), sponge, slice and cupcake with cherry is definitely the one. See previous posts for that beauty. It wouldn’t be a boon-rosser wedding without some extravagant silliness!
I want the back of my wedding dress to look like this - as I’m making it myself from a Vogue (Vera Wang) pattern and all other features - front neckline, skirt, bodice etc are all practically identical it should be fairly simple.
Watch this space I guess…
What do you lovely bridesmaids think of this dress - style wise, not necessarily colour wise. I think its a lovely shape, the rouching will hide any sins and show your curves at the same time and the back/neckline is really elegant.
Let me know what you think!
I like this idea but it can be done alot better.
My favorite table numbers! :D
